If anyone has this tank can you let me know how the filter and light are, heard they are a bit dodgy? What the filter flow is like (thinking of using it for a betta)? And whether it is noisy? as I'll be likely having this tank in my bedroom.

Not best tanks in the world and 100% no good for a betta.

Bettas jump and this is an open topped tank which, even with their little lid on, a fighter will still jump out of.

That and the trickling will drive you mad!

If you wanted it for a trio of guppies (smaller one or 6 for the larger one) then i'd say go ahead if you can put upwith the noise.

Tanks in bedroom are always ard to get used to but the two worst tanks to try are the Fluval Chi and Biorbs. :shifty:

I've got a fluval chi. It's never bothered me. The filter flow seems fine, and I wouldn't say it's noisy. It's got sufficient light, and just keep the water level about an inch below the surface with the lid and the betta shouldn't be able to jump. Mine hasn't yet in 4-5 months. I don't see why not :good:

All my tanks are in my bedroom and I'm not bothered.

Fluval Chi owner checking in - I've had one of these in my living room for about 2 1/2 months and not been bothered by noise at all (in fact I would say it remains silent most of the time unless the water level is getting low).
