Basically after tiring of fishing out platy babies(the tank had 45 babies at one stage), I decided to revamp my tank and host cichlids instead. After a false start in which Auratus Murder occured(RIP bristles), The tank has now been stocked and is up and running well. Note that this tank is planned as an intermediate system before I upgrade.

Stocking:
7 Juvenile Pseudotropheus Saulosi: 1 Male confirmed.
2 Sydontis Multipunctatus
Golden Mystery Snails(Slowly munched out).

Plants:
Valiensis
Java Fern
Red Crypt

Substrate:
9kg Basaltic ground lava type stone

Rockery:
8.9kg Various slates and metamorphic.

Yeah their fine: They dont really like the taste of these types of plants. The Java Fern was caused by the rather vicious platies that preceded the cichlids.
