Returning to Livebearers

Changing tank back to livebearers. Would the following mix work in a 240L (ish):

Xiphiphorus Montezuma Rio Tamasopo

Zoogoneticus tequila

or other suggestions to go with the Montezuma Swords

The montezumaes could be a bit too vivid for the Phallichthys tico. The Characodon lateralis are good company for those swords.

Splitfins like Characodon lateralis and montezuma swords will go perfectly together. Just the Ph.tico is more timid in combination with these two. I'm keeping these fish as well. I don't know why they would say that the combination won't work. Some say things like this when they know that they don't come from the same area. But that shouldn't be a factor if one would combine these two species.
