Hey there. I'm Aleydis.
Some of you might remember me here... I hung out here a lot when I got my first fish tank and ran into a major problem- my ammonia crisis. My ammonia was up at 2.0 PPM, and my fish were dropping left and right!
I was devastated, and came here for help often. I even started a tank diary (Which is not as successful now, since everything's just nice and cheery now) and received a lot of help from you helpful people. Here's a link to my diary if you need to be reminded of what my situation was like: http/www.fishforums.net/index.php?showto...246737&st=0
Special thanks to:

orange shark
And many other wonderful people who gave their input into my situation at the time. At the time I was so angry and upset at the failure of my tank, most of the posts I made here were rants, venting my anger at my parents who just wouldn't cooperate, or my fish, constantly confusing me. And you guys supported me all the way, and gave me hope. I give thanks to you all- you gave great advice and supported me when I needed it. You guys really pulled me out of the dark, and made my first fishkeeping experience a joyous one.
How's my tank doing now?
Not much have changed- NO FISH HAVE DIED OR GOTTEN SICK IN MONTHS. Ammonia level has been at 0 for months as well, and my fish are happier than ever. My parents have started to love them, and they even let me buy some melafix and pimafix at Petsmart recently. Sure, it isn't MEDICINE medicine, like Macryn, but it's something, at least.
Again, thank you all. I hope you guys keep doing what you do- newbies do appreciate you, and they do need your help.
