i know that sometimes fishs are killed to end their suffering but my concern is wot do people do after i know some people flush it down the tiolet and in my opinion that seems disrespectfull to the fish who has loved u for X amount of time. Pleases treat the fishs with respect, don't just chuck it down the toilet.

I don't flush but what do you suggest to be the option? I don't have a proper garden and even if I did I think it's illegal to bury animals in it. Also, many people loose a lot of fish in the first few weeks and through disease.

Pet cemetary?

I am of the opinion that when you're dead, you're dead and that's it. As far as I am concerned they don't care/know what is happening. Oh, and the same goes for people.

Flushing dead fishes down the toilet it's not very good for envinronment. Water purification plants need to use more and more chemicals if people flush everything down. So it's much better to put them with bio-garbage.

If you like to bury it, be sure, the hole is deep enough that no birds or other animals can't dig it up. And don't put it near lakes etc. either - if the fish is sick, the whole lake can become contaminated.

That's what I do. I don't like doing it, obviously, but I can't see any other way.

What left overs? I always eat everything And if I need to throw food away, I put it in bio-garbage.

I think that it's more important to show your respect to your pets by caring for them as good as you can, while they are still alive. That's the way how I show my respect for all my fellow (pet) creatures and when they are dead I flush them or bury them in the garden...depents on the weather (I don't like to dig in the garden while it's raining).
A dead animal is just an empty shell, the spirit is gone..the shell doens't matter anymore.

But this is my opinion....everybody should do what they think is best.

Bio garbage is anything that is bio degradable ie vedgetable and fruit peels, bones and left over foods. Some places in Europe insist that you throw your rubbish into seperate bins for non bio degradable and bio degradable refuse and some even go as far as to make you seperate the non bio degradable stuff into its own catagories for recycling, ie tins, plastics and glass.

I had a adf once and I got really attatched to him, much more then I do with fish because they seem to have more "emotions" if you will... then fish do. So when he died I cried (yes I cried) and buried him under the water spicket so he could always be wet. Keep in mind this was when I was like 15 but whatever.

Oh and I don't eat fish so I don't do anything with leftovers Would you eat your dog? That's how I see it....
