*resolved* Is Something Wrong?

your gonna be doing water chnages every day just to keep the fish alive, i would advise you take them back to the shop, buy some household ammonia from homebase and do a fishless cycle. the beginners section holds lots of information. gluck

They like to be in big groups and they like quiet a bit of space when fully grown, they are a very active fish. Have you read all the comments and taken on board what you need to do?

Kevin, Homebase is a UK company, so unless you fancy a trip over the Atlantic...... I believe Ace Hardware is a source in the States. If you search the members for someone called AquaTom, he has a link in his signature area for US sources of household ammonia.

And like Tizer said, Good Luck.

Yeah I have been trying to do as much as I can. Money is a bit tight this week but I am trying everything I can. I did a 50% water change last night and they seem to be swimming around A LOT more. Should I do another water change today? If so what %?

I would do 20% a day for a couple of weeks then 10% daily until you have the required readings, you could try putting some more cover in for them, a couple bunches of vallis or eloda should do it, di

They will be fine as long as there is a great enough number, cramped conditions arent ideal as they are very active but fish can become timid if there is no cover. A few tall/ medium sized plants should be enough.

The water changes worked! They are eating and swimming around like they should! Thank you guys so much for your help it is greatly appreciated
