got a new tank this weekend, thats 3 in my living room now, a 350l, 120l and 75l.... and it's only a v small house.

went to work and one of my colleagues say's she's getting rid of her tank and do I want anything out of it. Well you just know I'm gonna have the whole bloody tank and set up don't you. Apparently it's 4 foot, but she's not sure if it's 1/2 foot tall. So either be 120l or 220l ish, have to wait and see tomorrow.

I was just gonna take her gourami off her hands and maybe a pair of the angels for Ian..... mentioned it to him and we've just spent the last half hr or so on the phone discussing options

Think it's gonna be his tank but live in my house, current front runners for suggestions are a brakish tank, or a malawi tank.

need to do some research :D

I blame Ian entirely, I had my 1 tank for 2 yrs, then got another, had that for 2 yrs, I was happy with that, then we got together, he got a tank, I've got another, were possibly getting this new one, and possibly a nano reef, and also quite fancy a little(ish) tank with 3 dwarf puffers  getting out of control!!!

I've only got 4 rooms in my house, and they're all quite small...... no room for more tanks, yet we've spent quite a lot of time planning moving all the furniture so we can get more tanks!

you have 4 rooms? your lucky lol!

i have all these tanks in my bedroom and theres more water volume than air.

i do the same too, "if i jus moved my desk over a lil then theres a 2 foot gap i could fill with a tank".

supposed to be movin out soon, thats gonna be hell.

 we've been trying to work out where we can fit one in the kitchen & bathroom, don't think it's the best of ideas but it'd mean not having all of them in living room and bedroom

Also Ian's supposed to be moving in at some point in the next yr, and bringing at least 1 big tank with him... more than likely more

I'm hoping to move house next summer, gonna be an absolute nightmare with all of them...... but on the plus side I'd be getting a bigger house..... and therefore room for more tanks!!! :D :D :D

a house *dreamz*

that would be kewl.

when i move out ill probably have cardboard floors and use an outside tap for my bathroom.

actually having sed that, i dont think my girlfriend would allow that lol!

seriously tho, im gonna have to choose a place carefully. gonna need solid floors.

yeah I know, I have to be careful as I have a cellar, wasn't into fish when I bought the house tho, and had severe money limitations so had to get what I could afford, was only 20 at the time.

My next house apparently has to have concrete floors so Ian can get some bigger tanks

first tank he bought was 3 foot x 3 foot x 2 foot........ was only after he bought it he realised it'd collapse his floor

lol ive heard of a few people doing that.

infact the person im getting the 180G tank from is only selling it cos it doesnt fit where he wanted it to go (silly him, lucky me! lol)

my bedroom floors concrete so i havent had to worry about anything like that yet.

i wonder how hard it is to get a place with a concrete floor....

bet the family loves you lol.

what you gonna do with 30 tanks?

I live on my own, but my fiance is moving in in August when she goes on maternity leave. She loves the fish too, which helps hehehehe

as for the other 30 tanks. they are part of my fish house, when i begin construction of it :)

30 :S just a few more then!!!! don't think we could fit 30 in my house though, you've seen how small it is. got some pics of my new tank here http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=140439 looking well swish don't u think?!?!? I'm mostly enjoying gloating at Ian that my tank's bigger than his

surprise surprise, were having the tank..... think were gonna change it to malawi :D

mts......

tell me about all my available funds go on fish and i have a 61/2 foot tank and 4foot and 1ft aqua and im planning on the next one........dont tell hubby though! :p

and got told last night one of my birthday pressies from my lovely fella is another tank, just a little hexaganol one to have froggies in :D so that'l make 5 tanks in my house.

Ian's got a 220l and is planning a little nano reef, so they'll be coming over too when he moves in
