Reselling Vista Ultimate

just wondered, i have recently removed vista ultimate from my computer - thinking of selling the two dvds 32/64 bit upgrade pack, but just wondered, has anyone resold this kit and will it load without issue from the other end 'im just thinking it should be ok as long as that particuar pack isnt on another machine' is that right?

Not sure I know its pain in the #### to install again after a format and oftens ends up in a few phone calls to Microsoft to try and get it validated

I've never had an issue reinstalling vista as a clean install after format or on a new machine, but I think that technically you cant legally sell it on. Its the EULA sticker thing that you pay for, which should be stuck on the machine Vista is installed on.

That's if it's an OEM version, otherwise you shold be free to sell it on as far as I am aware.

If you have the full retail or upgrade version of vista then you are ok to sell it onas long as it is not in use on another machine. So you need to uninstall it from your machine first.

However if you have the OEM version you cannot legally resell it as it is tied to the original machine you installed it on.
