So the shrimp I had ordered from a person up North from me arrived dead  , but I have attempted to safe something of the shipment, in that I collected all the eggs of the recently dead females and have put them in a jar of water with an airstone. Is this last ditch attempt likely to work? I know some people have tried similar things with crystal shrimp, but I have never heard/ read if the effort worked. The shrimp I ordered are actually related to crystals but only distantly. The shrimp where still naturally coloured and had not turned pink/ red like long dead shrimp would have, so I was hoping maybe the eggs would still be viable.
Any thoughts?:/

Depending on the How far along the eggs are would make a bit of difference. But I have heard of people doing this and it has worked. So just make sure the water is nice and clean keep that air pumping and good chance they could hatch.

What kind of shrimp did you get?

They where false zebra shrimp other wise known as caridna confusa, if none of the eggs do end up hatching at least I know I tried and the person who sent the originals is sending some more in a couple of weeks time.
