Rescued Betta *pics*

awww Heather :( you so did your best, it just wasn't meant to be, nothing you did/didn't and most certainly not your fault. Bless your heart for saving him and may be rest peacefully xxxxx

Thankyooo.. Mel x I didnt get another betta today.. was thinking though y-day when I was in pets at home there was a red betta that was in with lots of female bettas.. So I may take a trip over and get him in the next half hour or so.. What do you guys think? :good:

He didnt look that bad.. He still had his tail and fins.. I had noticed that he was chasing and nipping the females  I will pop in and see he might already be away.. :# x

Well I went back y-day to pets at home and the red male was still there.. He looked terrible he was stuck in a plant and I dont think he could get up for air :/ .. I decided just to leave him as he would have probably died with getting moved around.. I doubt if he lived much longer once I left the shop.. There was also a dead female betta lying at the bottom of the tank..
Its terrible the way those poor fish are treated.. :( x

Which Pets@Home do you go to Heather? I've been to 3 in the area and the Kirkcaldy one seems the best. They do put their bettas in the small fishes tanks but both in my house were perfectly healthy with un-nipped tails. I wish they'd put the bettas in the display tanks instead of mollies etc. which are perfectly happy together
