Hello, my tank redone with dark sand instead of ugly mixed gravel. My crypts are melting a bit but everything else is doing great. The photos don’t do it justice, there must be a knack that I’m missing.

Looking good!

I suggest you add a black background to your tank. It will make the fish more comfy and it will look better.

Here is an example in my 10g betta tank:

Looks good :) glad your sand didnt poison your fish like mine lol. It looks great

Thanks I will do this. Will black card work well enough or do I need a fancy aquarium poster?
No need to get a poster. Just use black card stock, black paper, or black trash bags. (I use black trash bags. :))

Thanks. I’m sorry to hear about your fish. The fish are new, other than the betta who I made a temporary betta hotel for where she stayed for a few days until the tank cleared.

Your betta in the profile pic is beautiful!
