Replacement Rubber Suckers?

Hi guys,

Does anyone know where you can get replacement rubber suckers/pad/feet for an Eden 236 Powerhead / Zoo-Med PS-40. The ones I have are old and brittle and no longer adhere to the side of the tank. Any UK online retailer would be ok.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most large dealers should keep a supply of generic "suckers"

Go into a home improvement store like a Home Depot. Look for the bathroom fixture isle. Then look where those hangers that clip on your shower head shaft to hold your soaps and shampoos. Look around that area and you can normally find suctions cups around there. Thats where I got replacements for my heaters. Just make sure they aren't labled as "Bacteria, Mildew, and Fungal Proof" and such, some are... They are pretty cheap too.

any UK lfs that has an account with the wholesaler ALF will be able to order you replacement parts for eden pumps.
it take 3 weeks for the wholesaler to actually get the bit, so be prepared to wait a while.

local hardware store would prolly have something along those lines...thats where i got my spares they havnt killed any of my underwater buddies yet if thats what your worried about

If you buy a car sun blind (the pull down roller type) from poundland or similar store for 99p, you normally get 3 (clear) suckers which are what I use instead of the black ones that came with my glassware and spraybar for my filter.

Thanks for the tips guys. I'll have a look and see if I can turn anything up that will fit. I did e-mail the manufacturer but as yet I haven't heard a thing.

I'll probably drop by the LFS tomorrow and see if they can supply me some generic ones at extortionate prices lol. I bought an Eheim spraybar and end cap the otherday. £6 for a bit of plastic with a few holes in. It was £2 for the damn end caps! £2 for something that probably costs less than a penny to make.

I'll also have to tart myself up. That cute blonde girl might be working there again tomorrow lol
