Lately I've gotten a little bored with my aquascaping in my 65 gallon tank (tall). Right now it's live plants and terra cotta pots. Easy and cheap....but seems boring to me now. The main reason I've put off redoing it is that it's so hard to put stuff in the tank because of the height. I also worry about dropping something on a fish when I start putting new things back in there. Also, what about my beneficial bacteria? I have a sand substrate, and not sure how much is in that and the filter compared to all of the pots and broken pot pieces.

I glanced over a a topic about a "false" marine tank? Sounds very interesting...how would I go about creating one of those? And how could I go about safelt remodeling the tank?

Im looking to make a false marine tank with a spare ten gallon very soon, im planning to get fine white gravel and plastic coral and fake invertebrates which u can find online.

But you need bright and weird fish, which the only one i can think of right now is the bumble bee goby.

Yeah, I've had BBG before...neat little fish, no doubt. I just have never been able to come across the freshwater strain. Besides they would eventually just be a snack for some of my larger fish.
