Hi All,

A friend of mine purchased an Electrolysis unit for his tank to produce CO2, after a disaster with his Pressurised CO2 system went ballistic and killed his entire tank, :(

He is wondering if you can recharge the Carbon in these units by putting the block in the oven at a high temperature. We have read in PFK that you can do this with Carbon that is used in filters, although with limited success.

Thanks,

Rich

im not sure that will work, because when you use electrolysis, you only produce o2 and h2. im guessing the carbon will bind to the o2 and make co2? i think the other carbon works because other stuff bind to it and when you heat it up it it breaks the bond or something. not quite sure on this though
