I've noticed a lot of people saying that hydrometers aren't that accurate. So I decided to look up on refractometers, but the problem is, my LFS and pretty much every big chain stores around - Petsmart, Walmart (yes I know they don't sell fish anymore but they do still sell equipment!) - but none of them have refractometers. I've also tried ebay but I just got confused at what I was looking at.

Anyone know where to look for a refractometer? It can be a store or ebay, doesn't really make a difference to me. Oh and how much does it usually cost? I live in Canada so preferably nothing overseas :D

The refractometer i have is by www.d-daquariumsolutions.com

Normally retail in the UK for around £40. Its a "Portable refractometer"

Actually I bought mine from overseas. I'm in the US and mine came from Hong Kong or Japan or somewhere over there. From ebay only $35 including shipping. I took it to my lfs and they helped me calibrate it. The main guy at the lfs said it looks to be pretty good.
