Reduce Filter Power/flow

i have a fluval 2 plus filter in my 60l betta tank and its is quite powerful. i know bettas dont like current althouh my betta doesnt particulary avoid it. is there any way to reduce the flow?

Get some tights that haven't been dyed and cut the foot off of them. Wash it thoroughly in hot water and swish it around a bit. Make sure no colour runs from it at all. Then, attach and fasten it around the filter outlet and it should reduce the speed and force of the flow.


Worked a treat for both my aquariums.

Oh also, if you try adding tights, and its still to strong, place some silk or plastic plants right in front of the outlet, its stronger than adding live plants which might break apart.

What I do is I rubber band an Aqua Clear sponge in front of where the water comes back in the tank. You can more or less adjust it then.
