Reddish Water

I might sound stupid, but I really don't know what to do... Still need to learn all this stuff..

I added the filter today, cause I didn't have one in the tank, and it was cleaned(from my previous tank), and I did let it run through some of the fish tank water in a bowl.

And now, about an hour later, the water is turning reddish/pink.
I searched on Google, and it said it might be the fish food, and the food I give is red, but why does this happen only now? After adding the filter?

Never heard this before. Have you recently added bogwood? If so could be tannins. Otherwise, could be a dye from an ornament?
