I have this 35g tank with 6 neons, 6 guppies, 6 endlers, 3 zebra loaches, 1 weather loach, 1 pleco, 2 cory catfish, 5 mollies, 2 platys, 1 ADF and some shrimp. I was wondering if I could add RTS, would they eat my neons and guppies? Also would it pick on other fish? If I cant add them, what other fish should I buy?

He won't eat any of your fish but they get about 4 inches but are very active and need a lot of swim room so I wouldn't recommend keeping them in anything less than a 55g

Would it kill other fish though? Stress them out?

You could but then you would need to get a bigger tank (55g minimum) or get rid of him (return him to the store, sell, give to a friend).

No it would't harm the fish. I kept him with cory catfish and live bearers before for almost 2 years, never had any problems, he would only eat algae, blood worms and some flake food that reached the floor.

Oh his size is not the problem as I have a 115g tank but I won't add the red tail shark there because all the fish are big and the red tails being sold are tiny. Once the Red tail is big enough I'll transport it to my other tank. Just one more thing, so are you absolutely sure it won't harm mollies, platys and smaller fish such as neons and guppies?

Hiya, how are you? On topic RTS are pretty unpredictable especially in their teens, alot of the time they seem to switch from a really cute friendly community fish to a really mean tank bully! Hence why some people even keep them with malawi cichlids and more aggressive fish, I guess it all depends on alot of things but I personally would not recommend a rts in a community tank with smaller fish and bottom dwellers as in my experience when they get a little older something just switches. Even rainbow sharks are similar and both would either kill or terrorise the shrimp when they get old enough. I hope I helped Maybe @Wills can offer better advice? But in my experience they do get extremely aggressive in smaller setups with fish that are easily bullied.

What's in 115g tank?. If it anything apart from like Oscars or Jack Demseys, he may be fine, provide him with lots of caves to hide in. They are pretty cunning and move fast when they need to.

Oops I replied by accident, there is also plecos, pictus catfish (5), chichilids, crabs, angelfish, kois, barbs, clown loaches.

There is a lot of action in there. Give him a few caves to hide in and put him in the 115g
