Red Tail Shark And Spotted Rubber Lip Pleco

It shouldn't bother the pleco. Plecos are hardy fish.
They have a soft belly but the rest of the body is hard.

If the red tail shark does that 24/24 it would be a problem but if it's only a few times a day/week I wouldn't stress.

You should be fine, but monitor the plec, if his fins start become ragged then he is getting stressed out. If it upsets him enough he may decide to show the RTBS who is boss. as stated about, a plecs body is rough like sand paper.

good looking RTBS by the way

I'm sure the shark is just eating stuff thats on your pleco. Ruby Sharks like to clean all manner of surfaces. Besides I have read they don't bite they just chase and head butt other fish.
