what are they like to keep and with tank mates

i have a baby red tail giant gourami. hes great, i keep him with 2 gold severums, plecos and a fire eels coming soon. he is about 6" at the moment in a 4foot tank. he will be getting a bigger one when he grows

I know this is kinda off subject but do they catch them in asia like we catch bass and pike in america?

not quite the same, they are usually farm reared, i also have commons and albino's, red tails dont grow as big as true giant gourami's
