I'm been searching around and i think it looks like some kind of bacterial infection but wanted to run it by the experts anyway....

I've lost an albino Cory two days ago, he had some major red streaks running from top to bottom, looked like he was bleeding internally. I watched for 24 hrs and it became obvious he was about to check out so I did the right thing and euthanized him. Just before I got this pic, it’s not very good as I didn't have time to do a David Bailey.

One of my other cories has been in a cave all day, he seems ok, but I’m getting worried now.

Rio 240 lots of java moss and recently added some frogbit floating plants (i hope it’s not from them)

I've had the tank established for 2 years, 10 day water cycle (matched my work pattern). All stats 0 apart from a hint of Nitrate, but very, very low levels. My BN's have spawned and the cories spawned around 10 days ago and also laid about 15 eggs 3 days ago.

Any advice or help welcome, I’m away from the PC for a couple of hours so will try to reply when i get back.

Thanks in advanced,

Simon

Septicemia hard to cure once it progresses.
Also the bacteria from the fish can enter the tank.

Thanks Wilder for the response.

It's looking like it was just the one fish as my other cories are still very active.

First time i've ever had a problem with my tank :(

Has he passed away.
I would just preform a few daily water changes on main tank.

Yes, i put her out of her misery that day, it was clear she was going to die.

Will do a water change 2mo as you suggest.

Cheers

P.s nearly at 10,000 posts mate!!!!
