Looks more like a male to me, either way it is a really bonnie fish!

very hard to sex red severums and a lot of them are infertile.

Looks female, males have an even spotting, females have most of the spots closer to the front from my experience (it doesnt go down to facial markings in red spotted efaciatus)

(most of the darker spots)

SImply impossible to sex red-spots on spotting or body shape. Although most seem to be male and, as has been mentioned, many are infertile.

I am saying male due to the pointed dorsal and anal fins which males posses, although I have a green sev female with pointed fins so it isnt an accurate way of sexing! But the spots on its cheeks are very vibrant like that of males but again I cant say so for certain, sorry!
