Red Poo!?

One of my guppies has ot a small strigy bit of red poo coming out! what is it is he ok? Im having to do regular water changes as my tank hasnt cycled yet (as i took pets at homes advice) my PH an ammonia levels are fine. dont have a test kit for nitrate(?) yet as I didnt have enough money on me today

What did you feed them? Some foods might color the poop.
 
oh oh, doesnt sound good man, really need to be cycling the tank properly before you add fish.

Could also be something its eaten maybe? I'v had some phantome tetras in the past that when they ate too much bloodworm, the poo'd red for a while.

they have multicoloured flake food could it be that? and yes I now know that I should have cycled the tank now but unfortunatly this is my first ever tank and i took pets at homes advice
 
It probably ate a red flake... Keep up your water changes they may all get through it. Mine have survived a fish-in cycle and two tank changes. Hard as nails!
 
My fish if they've been eating the courgette have green poo, it could just be what you've been feeding them
 
My friend had this once! His gravel was red that was the furthest we got into investigating:L
 
As many people said, it could be something it ate.

You should see my gold spot pleco after eating watermelon, bright red, huge pieces of waste everywhere... :D
