IVE AD A RED PARROT FOR ABOUT 1WEEK NOW
AND FROM ALL UR REPLIES IVE DICIDED TO ASK MY
LOCAL LFS TO TAKE HIM BACK AND THEY SAID YES
IVE ONLY A 30G TANK AND U ALL SAID IT WOULD
GROW TO BIG FOR THE TANK
AS OF THAT RED IS NO MORE SO NOW

IM LOOKIN FOR A FISH MAYB A ANGELFISH OR
SOMETHING AS A CENTER PEICE
IN MY TANK OR WOULD U CONSIDER ANYTHING ESLE

1 KING TIGER PLEC
2 CORRIES
2 OTTOS
8 PLATYS

How big is the plec going to get?

Get more cories and otos. A nice 'centerpiece' for a 30 gallon would be some gouramies. A pair of pearls, a trio of colisa fasciata or a trio of colisa labiosa would be nice. A single male opaline/three-spot gourami could also work - or 2 females.

dude, can u PLEASE stop using all CAPITALS i cant stand it, its painfull to read, and it shows aggresion, as for taking the parrot back, you did the right thing

Capitals won't help use think.

Anyways, I think you picked good fish for your setup. I wish you luck.

DB :fish:

Can't a person type however they choose?? Last time I checked, that is why we have the text options...................

I have 2 parrots in a 30 at the moment. One is a juvenile and one is a baby. Was yours very young?? I don't think you necessarily HAD to get rid of it...........It takes the dyed BPs FOREVER to get REALLY REALLY big, the natural ones grow faster IMO.........but if you were going to upgrade I don't see it as a problem what so ever, as long as it wasn't already big! :dunno:

JMHO!
