Have come to my fish tank this morning - 100L - and found that two of my three Torpedo's are looking less than healthy. The distinctive black line seems to have evapourated in places, and they have lost weight....the comparison beteen the two that have deteriorated and the one that currently seems healthy is plain to see......they also are not very interested in food.....

Any idea....what can I do??????

Cheers :/

First we need some more info;

a. how many gallons does the tank hold and how long has it been set up?
b. How many fish do you have in it and what types?
c. Can you post some recent test results for ammonia, nitrates and nitrites?
d. Do you use dechlorinator, what is the temp in the tank and what is your general tank cleaning regime and how often do you do it?

:)

Tank + 100Liters - see pic - http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=112770

5 x Glass Catfish
Shoal of 9 - this will sound stupid - what look identical in design as the 'harlequins - bit i was under the impression was a type of barb
7 Guppies
3 Red Stripe torpedoes
A Loach which is reletive to the size of tank

Do a 30% water change with water from the LFS
Clean sand/gravel at the same time as above
Water Temperature kept at a consistant 25.4%

For the plants - 25ml of Sera Floren per week
for the water / fish - 10ml of Sera Nitrivec per week

Have invested in A fulvel 204 as an improved filter this last month

The community get on very well

Water Reults - Had them tested last week - scored maxiimum results in each category - have left the results report at work...had the trest done at the lFS

Looking forward to advice

Cheers
