I have 4 adult silver dollars (metynnis hypsauchen) and 5 adult red hooks (myleus rubripinnis) in a 100 gallon tank, and I'm looking for information of how to breed this guys.
I've looked for info in the web and for books at amazon about this particular species and no info is available. I've read a little that breeding the silver dollar is easy but I've also read that breeding the red hook is impossible at an aquarium... How can two almost identical species be so different at breeding
I simply don't trust the info I've found in Internet because is contradictory.
Does anyone knows something of this topic
