Could I keep these 2 fish together? I've heard the sharks attack anything that looks like them, if I could there would be 2 or 3 catfish and 1 shark in a 30 gallon and some other fish as well.

The compatibility of these fish are well known. They are aggressive towards ANY fish that comes into their territory. They like caves and dark places to hide away in. These fish have no relationship to the real sharks and shark family of fish. My advice is if you want upside down catfish stick to them. I have 5 and they are really peaceful catfish.

I kept my rainbow ahrk in the same tank as my 2 USDs and there were no problems at all. I have lots of bog wood on the bottom and lots of caves. Maybe that helped, and the tank is 320 litres.
