Hello,
I noticed yesterday our Red Devil has some green blotches on only one side. He is very young and on other sites I have read that in certain stages Red Devils will molt, Is this True? If so is that what this is, And if not what did I do wrong. His tank is small but cleaned regularly. It also has spread to his fins all but pectoral. I don't know what I did I added some plants from another disease free tank, Also we put in a ceramic cat head ornament as a cave we are planning on replacing it soon.

Please help if you have any information please E-mail [email protected] Thanks so much!

I would ask a mod to move this for you to the right part of the forum as you will get more replys, names in blue at the bottom of the forum.
Don't think it's anything to worry about the green blotches.

Sad to say I think it is Lead poisoning from a thermometer that had been smashed un-noticed . We hope he makes it, We have moved him to his 8 gallon transfer bucket( Because of an up-coming move and to stop exposure to the poison.)Hopefully that will help, But we are expecting the worst to happen. Any info on a possible way to treat or at least help him Please help

if you really think its a fungus (try googling for simular symptoms from others to match exact disease from pictures) try using Pimafix by API the same ones that do Melafix

Not sure no nothing about that type of fish, could try an espon salt bath to drawn the poisons out, sorry must be awful.
