Red claw crabs

I read somewhere they are peaceful. Then I read at the lfs it's agressive. Please, everyone, tell me what you know about this invertabrate. Will it go with loaches?

You'll get better information in the Inverts forum on them but I have read they're mostly peaceful though there's always the odd exception who doesn't keep peaceful and of course, they're oppurtunists who'll go after small, slow moving or sleeping fish or frogs that they can get.
