Red Blue Colombian Tetra

Is a school of seven red blue Colombian tetras compatible with my schools of Beckford's pencilfish and Boehlkei penguins? I've seen reports that the Colombians can be nippy, and that they are fine if in their own school. Thanks for your help.

I used to keep 6 coloumbian tetras and I loved them!

They kept to themselves although they had a few little fights between them when establishing pecking orders.

Ive heard ones on their own go mental!

Zebra danios, Neon Tetra's and bala sharks.

They never bothered any occupants at all

I quite miss that little shoal now

There are now seven Colombians in my tank. They are peaceful so far, and seem to encourage the penguins and pencilfish to come out of hiding. What, are they afraid of the little pangasius cats that spend all day in the darkness of a castle?

Lol who knows. You'll enjoy keeping these tetra's, they have great personality.
