The Irridescent shark is almost 13" now. It would be cool if he would reach 2ft.

That is a massive tank! I think it's even bigger than CFCs - though can't quite remember the measurements for that.

The baby convicts look so tiny in there.


Your shark will definitely reach 2' with that space. Although he'll probably get much bigger than that (max is over 1m) but not sure how much space he should have.

Not sure about the giant gourami idea - catfish is definitely the way to go!

The hardest thing was the set up (plumbing the filtration/ decoration/ finishing the stand and canopy). The regular maintenance is quick. Water changes take a while but I just have to check up on the water flow every 20 min or so.

I change about 2/3 of the water every 2 weeks. It is actually quite easy. It just takes a while.

Bet you don't do that with a bit of pipe and a bucket.

I do have 2 plecs.

13" and 9"
