Wow! Never would have guessed that, especially with all the genetic info everyone seems to be trying to pin down. Good news for me too then! Well, the babies look fabulous, and I think the spread has everything to do with raising them and water quality and enough nutrition to support the growth and the room too. Very pretty female though.

Texaswomen. I feels like this experiment has a very interesting result. I just love the shape of the babies. Blend between the both parent. Some of them have mask too and also simmering like their mom. I will breed one more batch again. Right now I got maybe 40 babies from the father with a yellow gold halfmoon female that hatch this week. After 10 days, I will breed with him again with this female. Then I can really put more effort for this new batch.
I was kind of down after reading too much about the post breeding veiltail in here. At that time, I nearly don't want to put to much efforts because of the negative imput about breeding veiltail. But my hand can't let them go like that so I did finally pull it through at the end. Luckily the babies did show their true colors. I love it. They are so different.

Yeah, after all the discussions lately about it, I was worried about raising my spawn cross of traditional plakat to hm female. I am too excited about them though, that I though, I'll show them and just raise them anyways and see what I have rather than what everyone thinks is going to come out. Paid out for you Yeevia! Hopefully I'll get some nice ones too.

Texaswoman. Oh yeah. I have at least 170 babies of giant plakat male crossing red halfmoon female too. They getting big now too. Two batch with different female.
I will tried to get the gold one out and hopefully I have time to take a picture. I think it is a she if I am right.

Today I look at my red babies. Yes, finally one reach halfmoon and the both end side growth longer now. More look like halfmoon tail. I think he might be going to be over halfmoon since they are still small.
As for the gold, I can't find it last night. Too dark. As today, I found her. I think it is a she. I found another tank another solid gold one too. Yippy. I might have to look at the 20 gallon tanks too. I might have some there. Ohhh. I splite up the babies because they are different sizes. I have the fancy babies in three tanks.
Up dating my blue butterfly first batch! Wou! They getting big. Colors is showing. I think I got few green color too. Interesting batch. So far I only see one go to heaven. The second batch still coming alone. Too many babies!!!! The father still inside taking care of the babies. He is doing a real great job. He got delicious food to eat until his belly getting so big. LOL Live babies brine shrimps. He also making the babies staying up from lying down the bottom. I didn't see any dead babies since they hatching. I am going to get two 55 gallon tanks soon and put both into my ceramics studio. Olala.

Oh yeah. I want to name my fancy babies as ROCKET babies as new catagories tail! hahaha No more moon. LOL IBC can kiss my ass. LOL
