Recommend Me Testing Kits For Ph And Nitrates

i just bought a full tank set up complete with malawi fish, i have kept them before and as the water is soft where i live i used to keep checks on the ph and nitrates, so i want to buy a ph and nitrate test kit and was wondering if there is any particular kits are recommended and some maybe to avoid or are they all much of the same and any will do

the previous keeper never had a thermometer, im not sure if he was assuming setting the temp on the scale of the heater was correct but anyway i need a thermometer, are the sticky on ones accurate enough or is a glass one better ?

API freshwaster master test kit is the one I use, but nutrafin do a similar one thats also supposed to be good. Avoid strips, get a liquid drop based testing kit - they're much more accurate.

ok thanks people, i seen a 5 in 1 strip kit but i never bought it thankfully, ill buy kits with the liquid drops based kit.
