Recommend Filter For 180l Tank

So I have a 180L tank and am currently looking at cannister/external filters. I've never had one before but thought I'd like to upgrade. I don't really know where to start so any help, information and recommendations are welcome. Prefer to spend under $400 au.

Im using a fluval 305 on mine and it keeps the water perfect

I've been having a read and don't know whether to go for an eheim 2215 or an aqua one advance 1250. Also what's the difference between the eheim's 2028 and 2228?
