Recent Platy Losses

i have lost 2 female platys in the last 2 weeks , 1 i found dead this morning , at the time they died , their bellys were very swollen and they looked heavily pregnant but could see no gravid spot , they both seemed fine the night before and my other fish seem all fine , could you tell me why this may have happend ?

know how you feel.
First fish in the tank were 6 platys. 2 male and 4 females. The males just hounded them and eventually lost all four. The arrival of some mollies calmed them down but they have no ladies to play with now!
Even when the other fish are resting, the platys dont stop!
They are red wagtails.

mine are variatus platys , do you think thats what happend then ? the males hounded them to death ? iknow 1 of the male platys is always chasing the other platys .
