Hi rocknurworld
I'm not an expert on clown plecs but have you tried raw potatoes? This is a very late response but I saw that no one has answered but they probably won't eat the raw potatoes either but maybe they will surprise you. Good luck. I hope you find something else they will eat.

I assume you have tried the veges raw and cooked. You can try them well cooked or only partly cooked. If possible increase the lighting and add some plant fertiliser to the tank. This will help encourage algae and they might graze on that. You can put some smooth river rocks in a bucket of water out in the sun. When they get covered in algae put them in the tank. Have a few rocks so some can be growing algae, and the others can be in the tank feeding the fish.

if they are eating ok
leave them to it they will eat other stuff when they want to

a good trick to getting fish to eat veggies that don't want to is to get some prawns and some spinach, blend them up together with a little bit of garlic, freeze it in an ice cube tray and fish tend to go nuts for it, they'll love thr prawn and will eat the spinach cos it comes with it!

not sure how you'd get it to sink for the plecs but thats another matter. :dunno:
