Today I spoke to Tetra UK who are disgusted by the NEMO thing. But say they can't force American Tetra to apologise. They were polite and did not try to dodge the issue. They agreed that they are equally shocked by what Tetra U.S. did on the CBS Early show. They suggested all concerned complain to American Tetra.

HI again
I have rung American Tetra, they just dug in their heels and would not admit they had done wrong.
They say their legal dept says they have done nothing wrong. (clutching at straws or what )
Pity they don't have an ethics department.

Ok latest update
I phoned Tetra Germany
They were very sweet, honest and did not in any way defend what American Tetra did.
They too expressed open disgust with Tetra U.S.
They put me through to the GENERAL MANAGERS OFFICE giving me the direct line,
and pointing out that he is on a business trip but i can speak to him tomorow no problem.
I opted to speak to his secratary today
She said they have already tried to put pressure on Tetra U.S to apologise over the incident. But they won't listen.
She is getting one of her collegues to email me with information about the exchanges between Germany and America over the incident. I'll post here when it arrives.

No m8 - a poll should allow all to voice an opinion or it is useless - so in my opinion there should be the choice in the poll not to support the the boycott or the poll is one sided and worthless....

I just got off the phone with a CSR. They were instructed to take name and contact info, but to make no statement in reguards to the show, since they were more of a warrenty info department. I was told to expect an e-mail in a short time.

I was also informed that the rep. that appeared is still employed and that CBS has not been contacted in reguards to making a formal appology. At this time they are just taking info and the "legal" and "marketing" departtments (which you cannot be transfered to) are deliberating a response. She did mention a particular forum "reefcentral," and asked if that was the way I found out about the show, I told her no. It appears that they are looking to defend the statements and presentation, that's the vibe I get anyways.

I just wonder how someone could knowingly present false information in the care of animals on a national TV show, and expect to make no response to it.

The reason I was given the lady on the show made that presentation was they had short notice and had no time to prepare a proper presentation.

I guess I will be waiting for the response.
