so the fitler described above is the filter i have in my 2 gal, doing an efficient jobi would say, but in a bout a 10 gallon thats filled up half way would it be sufficient the only tenant in the tank is a betta?
and if theres anythign DIY i can do to imrpove this filter or create a filtration system give me suggestions

In a 10 gallon filled up half way? So you want to use it for a 5 gallon?

yep , dont want to get it filled up all the way(dont want to flood my room), or the possibilty of my betta jumping, so theres no probs there
