I re-arranged my tank yesterday and have hidden my co2 diffuser in some rocks beneath my large windelov fern. I didn't really think about it at the time, but the co2 bubbles are now going through the leaves of the fern, which I figure is a good thing because it means the bubbles are in contact with the water longer and therefore more gets into the water (?)

Could this have an adverse effect on the plant?

That is a very nice tank indeed. The CO2 should have no negative effect on the plant, do the bubbles come into contact with the filter flow? This will mean the bubbles will have a longer contact with the water, thus more CO2.

Nice Tank, Weldone :good:

You were saying that the CO2 bubbles are staying in the water longer because it attaches to plant leaves, and could this coz problem to your plant? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think there will be any problems.

Thanks!

It's my 200ltr tank, corin castle.. waiting 'till pay day to get the 126ltr back in action (can't wait!!)

Thanks for everyones advice on the co2, I didn't think it would hurt but thought it would be best to double check.

cheers :good:

lovely set up, great light, great lookin plants, crystal clear water.....congrats on a fantastic tank

Thanks!

do the bubbles come into contact with the filter flow?

Sorry, I missed that before. About half of the bubbles end up in front of the outflow from one of my filters, so quite a lot of the bubbles end up going around the tank. I'm contemplating getting a new diffuser and setting it up under the filter intake.

Thanks again for everyone's kind comments! :)

Nice tank :) think the left side could use something though?
