went my lfs today yet again to buy another coral. i ended up buying a hammer coral frag for 15 pounds which wasnt too bad. anyway i spoted a small frag underneith the tray of corals and asked the guy what is that. he said a crystal coral. i said how much is that. he said you can have it. so i ended up getting that for free.
now i done a bit of research and it says it has very long tenticles with a nasty sting and it likes low to moderate flow.
apart from this has anyone got any more info on them to help me care for it. if anyone has any pictures aswel please post. hes only about 3-4cm long and about 2cm wide but he looks realy colourful and has came out straight away. my hammer has yet to come out.
thanks

Cool, it needs good light and a low to moderate water movement. Avoid close contact with other corals have they have stinging tenticles (just re-read and you put that! :good: ). Can be fed small frozen such as mysis and brine shrimp. Hope that helps. Once larger and in good health, they can be very attracitive.

Ah galaxia, nice little coral that. It's polyps are usually small bit it will send out feeders that pack a punch (only coral that's actually managed to sting me)
It will benefit from the odd feed like most LPS.
