Yesterday, I transferred my Rasboras to my 5 gallon (only 2) b/c the angelfish laid eggs in my other aquarium. This morning they wouldn't eat, and one (the one with the smalled belly) chases around the one with the large belly. The one with the larger belly rubs its stomach agaist the bottom of some of my plants...hmmm...could she be pregnant and laying eggs? I don't see any so I am not sure...the leafs are relitively skinny (live....forgot name)...is the one sick or breeding?!

which species of rasbora are you talking about, as that may have a relevance to the behaviour pattern.

generally speaking, chasing and rubbing could be behaviour consistant with mating rituals; however it could also be an indication of other things.

they are harlequin rasboras..and 3 hours later they are still doing it. But I don't see any eggs...

then I doubt very much that they are breeding as they need specific water params and they lay upside down under a leaf to perform "the act"

from you description of the behaviour, I think they may just be re-establishing the pecking order, seeing as you have changed their enviroment totally.
I would however keep my eye on the one that is rubbing as that could, and I emphasise, could, be an indication of flukes.
