Firstly would a shoal of B. brigittae group around 4-6 be compatible with a male betta CT and 3 khuli loaches?
Secondly why is it B. uropthalmoides and B. brigittae get so mixed up and what information can I believe on them? Are they able to be kept in similar conditions. I keep finding contradicting info even on here I believe the mosquito rasbora listed in the fish suitable for a 10 gallon thread is actually a B. uropthalmoides which is known as the exclamation point rasbora. With B.masculu (can't remember the name) being known as the chilli rasbora is that correct?

Even though the tank is only 7.5 gallon the filtration is excessive so will I be able to bump up the fish to include a small shoal. Filtration is 2x fluval 1+ powering my diy filter, 1x interpet PF1. I guesstimate turnover to be around 350gph which works out to 29 cycles of the water for both tanks. The other tank will be for the guppy/endler fry and adults with the betta swapping over. Rulers stuck on so that I can check the level to make sure the pumps are calibrated been running for a couple of days now without issue but still good to check until I get it properly stocked. The little bridge is some random thing that came with the tank which I won't be using.

2 out and one in, I will replace the garden hose with something more aesthetic eventually.

Boraras brigittae are the ones known as chili rasboras

I have 30 in a 60 litre hex and they are great little fishies

Do you think they will do fine then pippoodle or should I just stick with the preplanned stocking and not get shoaling fish. Are they mid and top level dwellers mainly? Are they shrimp hunters or will they just eat the juvies?

they are living in my shrimp tank , and thats still over flowing with shrimps so i dont think they even eat the baby shrimp , they might eat the odd one or 2 but nothing that i notice

they are only about 1.5 cm's full grown so not sure if the betta would eat them

they are in with my CBS and cherry shrimp and also in there are pymaeus and habrosus corys

Are you sure they are B. brigittae? as the size sounds more like B. uropthalmoides which are 0.75" whilst B. brigittae are normally 1.25"
