Came back after a weekend, as I always do. Walked into my room checked both my tanks.

In my second tank there is a grey like substance surrounding the air stone and I have 2 cooked/dead shrimp. The other shrimp also have black in there bodies.

In the tank are several cherry shrimp, few amano shrimp and one cambodian betta.

The plant is artificial, There is an Almond leaf.

I have yet to check stats

You have cyanobacteria growing on your plant leaves (known as blue-green algae).

Its caused by high light mixed with low nitrate or high nitrate which isn't being transported to the plants fast enough causing them to leech sugars which the blue-green algae use to grow (hence why they are growing on the plant).

The stuff on your gravel could be decayed blue-green algae; not completely sure.

To get rid of the blue-green algae, do the following:

1. Conduct a 5 day black-out; block all light sources from getting to the algae. You can achieve this by loosely covering the aquarium with a black dustbin bag.

On the 6th day, do a 50/60% water change with a syphon to remove the dead algae.
Ensure your nitrate level is between 25-30 ppm and that the dissolved nitrate is being transported adequately around the aquarium by good water flow.
Ensure your lighting period is set to 6-7 hours per day as leaving the lights on longer gives opportunistic algae the chance to snatch nitrate/phosphate before your plants do (plants become less efficient at taking up nutrients at the end of the photoperiod).

Its a plastic plant?

Cyanobacteria can grow on anything. It's up to you whether you want to take my advice or just keep growing cyanobacteria.
