RAM BREEDING TANK

Whats the smallest Tank you would recommend to breed Rams in? I have a pair who have spawned a few times but the tank is full of tetra so needles to say the eggs don't last long.

Any suggestions?

20 GALLON , LONG IS EVEN BETTER .

I wouldn't go with less than a 30 " tank with any dwarf cichlids in pairs or for breeding purposes .

20 gallon with some live plants and driftwood would be a nice breeding tank especially with the brilliant colors rams have! good luck

My blue rams would breed on large, flat river stones and broad leafed plants so those you could add to your tank to promote the "honey moon".
