Ralph Passed Away

My Betta Ralph passed away yesterday. He was only 14 months old, and has been with me the for 10 months. Was too early for him to go. He developed an ulcer or some other kind of internal bacterial infection. Been treating him for the passed three weeks with a Ocean Free's Bacteria and Ulcer Away. I thought he was recovering... but I guess I was worng.

Awww Ral, seems like luck hasn't been our thing huh? He's in betta heaven now though. At least he was 14 months and not 6. Don't feel bad I'm sure you tried your best. He was gorgeous.

I've heard a lot of Pinoy Betta fishkeepers are getting these kind of problems especially in Pasay area.

Yes, unfortunately there is the issue of some of our dumpsites contaiminating our water supply. I think, I have not drank tap water in 10 years or so... would be hard to use bottled water for all the fish.

Yeah ! but I never encountered this problem since I'm using Talisay (ketapang) leaves as my water conditioner.

And Atison's Betta Spa.

Atison is a friend and I learned a lot of tricks from him. He's nice though.
