Rainbow Shark Hidey Hole

I know this is very vague and apologies for that but what sort of ornament/plant thing and what sort of size do rainbow sharks need for a place to hide and live etc?

Any advice is appreciated.

6 inches long and 2 inches wide is big enough,rocks or wood works nice.

I have two pot ornaments and a cave for mine. SHE DOESN'T USE ANY OF THEM!!!!!!! The only hiding place she uses is a area I dug under a brigde for her. And she rarely uses that now.

I built mine a whole freakin habitat and he hides in a really small log that's barely big enough for him to fit in lol. Incidently pieces of slate are really easy to fashion into a cave system and bits of mopani wood and fake logs are also really easy to use.

I've rested both a piece of slate and some wood against the back glass at 45 degrees. Creating 2 caves. With a mass of plants above them, it's nice and dark in there. Just got the rainbow shark, so I don't know yet if he's happy with them.

2 further questions on Rainbow sharks!

- Are they the same thing as Red Finned Black Sharks? I thought these were 2 different species but my LFS said they are the same.
- How do you sex them?

As far as I know they are the same, there's so many names for them. Also, males have a black outline to their anal fin.
