Just got me 15 of these little beauties off ebay (search freshwater shrimp) and they are settling in great. I already have some adults in my big tank for a few years now(they are very long lived for shrimp)but only females. Now the new lot includes a mix of sexes so hopefully I can breed my old girls before they die of old age. I really recommend these shrimp as they are very hardy, quite large and look fantastic. Heres a few pics old and new.
Thanks

I have these as well, they are very nice, get a range of colours from that lovely brown to blue :D.

My females get loads of tiny eggs all the time, though I don't know if I have any babies yet, hard to pick them out from the cherry shrimp babies -_- .

Nice pics, lovely shrimp!

Nice one mate, is there an easy way of sexing them?

They are lovely looking shrimp T, after I saw your post I ordered some from the same seller. I have been wanting some for ages but never saw them, so thanks for the post. :good: I have other Babaulti types blue ones and the males are shaped like cherry males and smaller than the females.

My males don't seem much smaller, but their back section is slimmer the same way like male cherry shrimp. I just tell by the shape, and the fact that the females often have eggs.
