I have a 180L tank with 7x zebra danios and 6x Otocinclus.
My question is this:-
Would 6/7 forktail rainbows be a good addition to the family?

Was thinking of getting some cardinal tetras, 2x kribs, Bristtle nose Pleco.
Are these compatible...?

Pseudomugil furcata will want to occupy the same area of the tank as the Zebra Danios. They both enjoy water current, but the danios would be far better in a heaterless tank in most homes that changes temp through the seasons, while these rainbowfish need mainstream tropical temps as a minimum.

Yes, the proposed community will do well. Just expect a shortened life span on the danios.

Zebra danios are temperate fish, and are happiest between 60-72 d F. At higher temps their metabolism is increased, therefore shortening their life span.

Quote from Wikipedia on Zebra Danios:-

"They thrive best in water temperatures of 22–28 °C (72–82 °F)"

But then again, if you look on other websites every one says a different temp range.....!!!
Confused or what...!!!

The problem with Wikipedia is anyone can post any info they want. I could put they like temps up to 90, and unless someone changes it, everyone would read it as the truth. They will live just fine at higher temps, just not as long as they would at lower temps.

At the same time, there are enough people who visit Wikipedia who will change it back before long. Plus, it is actually fairly well moderated, and they will not allow a change that is too dramatic like 70 degrees to 90 degrees. Wikipedia is usually accurate enough, if you don't have any other sources. That being said, more specialized sources tend to be better.
