Would rain water be a good source to get water I think its the best kind of water you can get oout there but would rain water be really soft? I'm thinking about doing that. :p :fish:
 
Definitely more acidic. :nod:

However, being in Bush country (don't take that to heart) I would think there might be problems with pollutants and acid rain what with manufacturing and whatnot taht goes on in texas in full force. (though I might be wrong) However, still better to be on the safe side. :dunno:
 
Yeah, just buy an RO unit or buy RO water from your LFS if they sell it. Much easier than worrying about what's in rain water or naturally collected sea water.
 
The rain water here is a definatel NO NO as it carries alot of phosphates and chemicals that the framers use to spray their fields. RO water is the safer option.
