Hi, this will be my last freshwater question for a while. I'm selling my fish and going to saltwater. Including my 3 year old pepper Cory, a pair of blue rams, 6 Glowlights, 5 black phantoms and 2 Pygmy cories. I'm gonna miss freshwater... :-(

Congrats on moving up. I wish I could see a day where I jump to Salty. What size tank you doing?

A 10 gallon nano. It's been set up for a while and I'm taking down the fresh water so I can pay more attention to it. I will do freshwater again someday though...

I need to pay more attention to the nano, and I don't want my freshwater to be neglected. I will be transforming the tank into another nano, so that is too much for me to be doing freshwater too. I will be doing freshwater again, sometime, maybe in a year or two.

Yeah I am/was on the cusp of deciding to get a marine tank. Still keeping my tropical.
The more research I'm doing the more I'm shying away, mainly due to the costs. Even doing a water change is a bit of a hassle. The water needs made up 24h previous. The salt content needs measured, a heater and power head need added to get it mixed and heated.
But the fish and coral are lovely and running a complex Eco system appeals to my nature. More research needed I think.
